Purple Cane Tea Restaurant

Purple Cane restaurant has 2 different concepts, one with more classy looking restaurant which you can find it at The Gardens, Mid Valley (next to Din Tai Fung at lower ground) or Shaw Parade, Pudu and another type is more relaxing tea house at Petaling Street, some old shoplots behind the Uda Ocean near Pasar Seni LRT station. I am going to introduce the restaurant type here.

The food at this restaurant is pretty okay and mainly will use the tea leaves in their cooking. You can smell the tea leaves on some of the dishes. In the past, this restaurant at The Gardens has set lunch offers and ala carte meals too. It offers a few types of tea and cold drinks also.

Set lunch at The Garden’s restaurant was RM12.00nett. You cannot use the Jusco card for this set lunch to get discounts.

This set comes with a set of rice which 1 meal dish(meat), 1 vegetable dish and chinese tea of your choices. Here is some of the pictures of how the set lunch looks like.

It is pretty nice presentation. I like their serviette which printed with designs. I am not sure whether they are still giving the same serviette now.
