A malay restaurant at The Garden’s lower ground floor. It is situated next to Nyonya Color. It offers nasi dagang and nasi kerabu with different side dishes or “lauk”. It also has noodle selections such as assam laksa and laksam. The portion of the meal was generous and tasted good.
The setting arrangement of this restaurant is simple and able to accommodate quite a number of people and it’s quite crowded during the lunch hours.
Nasi Kerabu with Ayam Percik
It was my first try at this restaurant and I was quite surprised to know that nasi kerabu is not blue colour which I used to think of. The taste of the sauce on top of the rice blended nicely with yellow colour rice. It is not spicy.
The chicken on the right side of the plate was juicy and it tasted quite nice with its unique sauce. They will give either the drumstick side or the chicken wing side and both sides also have quite a lot of meat to eat. It included some unknown dried spices (bottom left) which I did not know what it is.
