Din Tai Fung


I went to this famous Taiwanese restaurant, Din Tai Fung at Pavilion KL for a dinner after visiting the PC Fair with a bunch of my colleagues. It was my first visit.

We ordered the Pu Er tea and shared it among us. It costs RM12.00 for a pot of tea.

Then, we ordered our food. One of them is the famous Xiao Long Bao. It has six little xiao long bao in the bamboo steamed basket. You can dip it into the vinegar sauce before eating it. One of the important step you must do when you eat it is to suck the sauce/soup from the xiao long bao before biting it.

My dinner is the La Min with minced pork. In the menu it shows that it is a chef recommended offer. Somehow, in my own opinion, I felt it was a bit tasteless for both the noodle and minced pork. Maybe it is not my good choice 🙂

Fried rice with pork chop
They gave a quite big piece of pork chop on top of the fried rice.

Fried rice with shrimps and meat
It is the same type of fried rice as (the above) the pork chop. You can see they also give quite a lot of shrimps.
