Oasis Food Court

Oasis Food Court is located at the second floor of the Mid Valley Shopping Mall. It has plenty of good food and some of it is quite famous stall here. The famous ones are the Pan Mee and the Portuguese Grill. Besides that, other food from other food stalls also doing good in promoting good food to the public. Here is some of the shares:-

Pan Mee
This Pan Mee stall is quite famous and quite a lot of people will queue to buy their Pan Mee and other noodles from this stall. This is the dry pan mee.

Curry Chicken Kway Teow
Yes, it is pretty often we can get curry chicken noodle but this one is using the sizzling pot to cook. It gives me another new taste of curry chicken. This is from the Sizzling Stall. However, this stall is closed already.

Yee Mee with Chicken and Mushroom
I pretty like to eat Yee Mee, a fried wanton noodle. This Yee Mee is pretty nice to eat with its half dried sauce. It is from the Eddie’s Stall. It costs RM5.50 for staff price and normal price it is RM6.50.

Fried Kway Teow
I tried the fried kway teow from the same stall, Eddie. It looks very different than the normal one. The colour is slightly lighter than usual and it is quite oily for me. The prawn is very small πŸ˜›

Fried Kway Teow
This is from a new stall, Penang Station which was just opened not long ago. I ordered the Fried Kway Teow with Chicken. When I ate it, I didn’t get to eat any meat inside this fried noodle. I felt a bit cheated. However, this stall is closed too.

Yong Tau Foo
Yong Tau Foo can be found anywhere, and here too. Most of the yong tau fu now costs around RM1.00 to RM1.20 and so does for this Yong Tau Fu’s Stall. You can choose any of the ingredients and it can go with noodle soup or dry with the sweet sauce (in cantonese it calls “tim cheong”). For Rm4.90, you can get 3 pieces of Yong Tau Foo with noodle or for Rm5.90, you can get 5 pieces.

Fish Ball Noodle
You can choose between fish ball, fish cake or a combination of both with choice of your favourite noodle. It goes with soup or dry type. It is from Uncle Lim’s Stall. Unfortunately, it has closed shop.

A new restaurant at Mid Valley North, The Reminisce offers varieties of local delicacies in small portions. Thus, we can try few things at one time without feeling of eating too much πŸ™‚

Here is some of the food that I have taken from the restaurant during my first time visit.

Century Egg Porridge
The porridge is nicely placed inside a look-like rice pot.

Curry Chicken Noodle
The curry chicken has quite thick curry sauce and it’s not using the yellow noodle. It is using noodle nissin noodle.

NasiΒ  Lemak
It is a normal nasi lemak with a fried egg, some sambal, anchovies, peanuts and cucumber slices.

Fried Carrot Cake
This fried carrot cake is commonly found when you go to eat dim sum.

Cold Longan Drink

Dessert – Water Chestnut

Dessert – Carrot Cake
Five pieces of carrot cake with some chicken floss. It is also a typical Chinese snack that can be found when you go to eat dim sum.

Dessert – Yam Cake
Yam Cake with dried small shrimps and spring onions on top. You can eat it with sambal belacan or sweet sauce (in cantonese it calls tim cheong”).

With so many food we have taken, it costs RM50++ because it is a lunch set for 5 people after 2 pm. I cannot remember if there is a set for 2 persons or not during the lunch time. Then, it’s pretty worth to try as snack.

Before I left, I took a picture next to where i sit. It has a lot of decorations inside this restaurant. Mainly, it is those old stuff that can remind us about our childhood. πŸ™‚
