I went to have my lunch with my team-mate and a colleague from Finance department. We decided to eat at Ko Hyang, which is located at Lower Ground, The Gardens Mall. When we reached the restaurant, it was full house. The waiter asked us to look through the menu and place order while waiting for a table.
Soon after we placed our orders, we got our table at one of the corners. As we sat down, the drinks that we ordered were served. As usual, I prefer to drink green tea. They used the same green tea bag as the Kyung Joo Korean restaurant at Level 3, Mid Valley.
Then, the side dishes consisted of kimchi, anchovies and shredded carrot and sengkuang (yambean). I am not sure if this side dishes can be refilled or not as I did not see any waiters refilling the side dishes for us.
The main dishes that we ordered, the Kim Chi Ji Gae, a thick and rich kim chi stew
Kal Guk Su – Handmaade spinach noodle with seafood.
We ordered the Kimchi Pajeon, a seafood pancake with spring onion. They also gave a small plate of kimchi paste.
