With the special 50% promotion vouchers bought by my colleagues, we headed down to this restaurant which is located at first floor, The Gardens, Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur. It is very easy to locate as it is situated in front of the south court’s escalator and it is also next to the Iseten, shopping mall.
Okay back to the restaurant. It says to promote healthy food means it will be those organics food and healthy ways of cooking style I assumed.
By looking at its menu, the price ranges for food is around RM20+ and above for a plate of meal and drinks are ranging from RM8 and above. You may find some organics coffee selection if you’re coffee lovers and of course, there is a list of healthy fruit drinks.
There is a choice of what type of pasta that you wish, either spaghetti or penne. In the menu, this is one of the chef recommended food. It is a Chinese vegetarian style of spaghetti cooked with three different types of mushroom with few sliced red capsicums. The overall presentation is good, the taste is great enough, definitely not oily and the spaghetti is cooked al-dente. Only drawback is the portion looks quite little although they give quite generous amount of mushrooms. If you are going for quantity, I would suggest you to get an extra starter or desserts.
Pumpkin Soup
Another healthy selection. It costs RM13.00 for a bowl of pumpkin soup which looks thick and delicious.
For beef lovers, they do offer Wagyu Beef Cheese Burger.
It comes with some potatoes wedges and green salads. I am sure you will feel very filling after finishing.
My colleague said, though the overall presentation looked dry but the beef is well done and not dry and the bun’s texture is nice.
Overall, the food in this restaurant is pretty okay. However, their services need to improve. It was pretty slow when we visited this restaurant and lunch crowds size looked quite manageable size. My colleagues’ Wagyu Beef Cheess Burger and Ayam Perchik Rice have to wait for more than 15 minutes after some confusion happened in the kitchen.
I think it is still okay to revisit this restaurant for the quality of food and the restaurant ambience but not for quantities, prices and services. It is just my personal opinions.
