From Ang Mo Kio Ave 4, we took the free shuttle bus to Thomson Plaza to have our lunch there. We searched through the directory while waiting for the bus at the bus stop and we decided to try Han’s fish and chip. Han’s serves affordable both local and western food. Unfortunately, their menu was changed, the local food are not available in the menu.
Well, since we decided to eat fish and chip, we did not bother too much on the unavailable local food selection. We ordered one fish and chip and another grilled fish. Both sets come with a bowl of mushroom soup with garlic bread. The soup is nice and creamy. Besides that, it also included a dessert and a glass of drink.

Nom..Nom…Nom…It is cheap and nice fish feast from Han’s.

The Groupon gave me free RM10.00 credit and I must you it before the given expiry date. I asked my friend if she wants to buy anything and she can use my RM10.00 voucher to buy. Haha, she replied me, “I also have the same RM10.00 credit in my account”. On the day before the expiry date, she buzzed me and asked if I have bought something with the RM10.00. Ops! I almost forgot to use. I quickly browsed through the Groupon website and I found you, Big Boss!
Well, Ninja Joe was having promotion at the time. So, I decided to spend the RM10.00 voucher to get the Big Boss and added on RM5.00 for the Big Boss set which included the porky Big Boss burger, chillies cheesy fries and a cup of carbonated drink.
It definitely looked more than enough for me as lunch. The tenderness of the pork meat went well with the lettuce, tomato, one slice of bacon and an egg. I also like its bread, chewy texture. It is a very big burger for me to finish it alone.
Seriously, I cannot finish my fries and I brought it back home for dinner.
Good to try if you are looking for pork burgers as there is not many available in KL city. The price range is a bit medium high if you compared to McDonald or Burger King because it serves pork.

I was in Singapore for a project and met up with a group of my Singaporean colleagues for lunch before I left. They suggested me places to eat around our company in Tampines.
Our initial plan was to eat at Din Tai Fung but the queue was too long when we went to the restaurant at 12.30PM at Tampines Mall. So, we went up few floors and settled down at Tonkichi. It was quite quiet, no queue and not many people inside the restaurant. Good thing is able to fit 8 of us.

They do offer set lunch promotion. And, I decided to go for pork and ordered the Pork Shoga Yaki Set. Tender pork in ginger sauce with rice and salad.
It comes with miso soup, appertizer, chawanmushi, pickles and fruits. It costs $12.90, worth enough for all the above.
Thank you so much to all my dear colleagues in Singapore. Hope we will meet again in the future!

I have been working very stressful for the past few weeks. I felt I have totally no mood to write anything. Luckily, I still managed to get some posting up as per normal.
I went to Delicious in Mid Valley when my Singaporean’s colleague came up to KL and we met up for lunch. He suggested to eat at Delicious as it was getting late for lunch. It was my second visit to Delicious. My first visit was at a cosy apartment nearby KLCC.
Carbonara Spaghettini with Oyster Mushrooms, Beef Bacon, Oregano & Cream. It looked very creamy and nicely presented, but I did not know how it tasted.
Green Curry Chicken with rice
I ordered this green curry chicken. The gravy is a little spicy for me, however it goes well with the white rice.
Hot Honey Lemon
My usual drink, hot honey lemon.
