I went to this restaurant during the recent Chinese New Year. We ordered few Chinese New Year dishes to try alongside with their signature noodle and fried rice. There is no additional surcharges during this period of time.
For the CNY dishes we chose three dishes. I could not remember its Chinese names.
The Kung Po Chicken with Cashew Nuts is quite nice. It is not very spicy though. It has chicken cubes cooked with dried chillies, cubed capsicum and cashew nuts.
It consists of the Japanese beancurd cooked with the “dou pao” and broccoli.
Sea Cucumber with broccoli. I think the broccoli is pretty cheap during this period of time, haha, it gave us a lot of this vegetable for these two dishes.
Then, we did order a signature noodle, the Signature Seafood Noodle. It uses the wanton noodle to cook with the sliced fish, scallops and big prawns. The noodle was not soggy. The taste is good. However, the portion is a little small for this. So, if you want to try, you should order the middle size.
Do not be surprise, this is not the portion for small size.
Lastly, we also tried their Yong Chow Fried Rice. I guess this must be a two-person portion, judging by the amount of rice and generous ingredients inside. Although, it is a little oily, the fried rice is well cooked and not salty.
