It is our late lunch at StarHill, Kuala Lumpur, after settled some banking chores in town.
It has been quite a long time I did not visit this restaurant for dim sum. The table setting and tableware are remained the same.
Fried Carrot Cake
It is aromatic and not spicy type of fried carrot cake although it puts belacan to fry it too. The taste is well controlled and it is not oily too. The fried carrot cake is crispy from the outside and soft on inside.
Steamed Beancurd Rolls
It is a delicious beancurd rolls with sweet sauce. Inside the beancurd is chicken and fish meat. So, it is good to eat it when it is still warm.
Steamed Barbecue Chicken Bun
Go to any dim sum restaurants, barbecue bun is a must to order. The ingredients and sauce are the main keys for a barbecue bun’s success. This is one of the good ones. You can give a try too.
It is a bit salty for my taste bud, but ingredients are perfectly matched. It is pretty common ingredients where you can have chicken or pork meat, one sliced of mushroom, sometimes you might have Chinese sausage or minced meat.
Lastly, I ordered the egg tart. It is just a simple egg tart and I think it is better to order others to try next time.

Ambiance: It is very quite after the lunch hour. The restaurant is still serving dim sum even it is after lunch hour. The setting of the restaurant is very Chinese style and you can choose to sit inside or outside of the restaurant.
Rating: 3/5. The dim sum is still maintained its standard. Some of it are worth to order, especially the fried carrot cake.
