Yokozuna – Casual Japanese Dining, Fraser Place.
This restaurant was my first restaurant I invited my friends to join me to try as part of my food hunting and blogging project. I bought the vouchers from the Internet in which this restaurant offered their set lunch/dinner at a reasonable price. It consisted of 1 main dish, a bowl of rice, a cup of chawanmushi, a bowl of miso soup and fruit. They also offered free flow of green tea. It was a complete bento set lunch.
There were three of us, so we ordered three different dishes to try out.
Salmon Teriyaki Set
It is always good to eat with teriyaki sauce when it comes to Japanese food. Although, the salmon was a bit small piece, the overall taste and quality of food was pretty good.
Another two dishes that we tried:
Black Pepper Beef Set
This black pepper beef was quite disappointed because the meat was not tender and juicy. It has a very strong of black pepper taste.
Teppanyaki Chicken set
Common Teppanyaki chicken which we can find it any normal Japanese restaurant. It is quite salty if eat without rice.
Perhaps we have to try other dishes if we visit again this restaurant in the future. The dining experience here was just so-so only. There was no crowd during our visit on Saturday’s afternoon for lunch. The quality and taste of food are average. The ambiance is super quiet.
